Foil Coils:
The low-voltage winding adopts a foil structure, wound with a whole sheet of foil. The inter-turn insulation is resin-impregnated polyimide composite cloth, and the ends are resin-sealed. After high-temperature curing, the resin in the pre-impregnated polyimide composite cloth is released and then cured, making the entire coil a rigid whole. The low-voltage winding has a thermal class of F.
The high-voltage winding is a multi-section foil-wound structure, continuously wound. The inter-turn insulation is a composite polyimide film, and the inner and outer casting layers of the winding use a fiberglass mesh as a supporting skeleton. It is cast with a filler resin under vacuum. The inner and outer casting thickness is 2~3mm, which is a thin insulation structure. After high-temperature curing, the casting surface is smooth. The high-voltage winding has a thermal class of F.
Foil coils solve the prominent problems of large short-circuit stress, unbalanced ampere-turns, poor heat dissipation, and unstable manual welding quality in the winding of low-voltage, high-current coils.
